Hotels in Dublin at the lower end of the price range are usually busy at weekends and want to fill their rooms for more than two nights. To achieve this, they simply hold back on offering room availability for visitors who want to stay for Friday or Saturday only. The hotels know that they will be able to sell their rooms to guests who want to stay for two or more nights. We strongly suggest that you plan your visit to Dublin for a minimum of two to three nights at the weekend!

On weekends, the best value for visitors to Dublin is often to be found in the 4 and 5 star hotels. During the week they are catering to corporate clientele who can afford the higher mid week rates but at weekends they often reduce their rates to fill rooms which would otherwise be vacant. These rates are often not published but feel free to call us and we will guide you towards the best possible deal. This also applies during July & August which are traditionally the quietest periods for business travel to Dublin!

Thank you again for visiting the Dublin Hotels section of the Hotel Ireland site.
