Aside from the city centre, the Ballsbridge area is the most popular district for visitors.
Ballsbridge is part of the Dublin 4 postal area. It is one of the nicest parts of the city to live or stay & is certainly the most exclusive. The streets in the area are mostly wide tree lined avenues on which are built an interesting selection of impressive Georgian, Victorian & Edwardian Residences.

One of the principal reasons for the areas popularity is ease of access to the city. There is a regular Dart Service to the City, a journey which takes about 5 minutes.

In addition, there are about 10 bus routes that visitors can use to get into the centre. Should you choose to walk, it takes about 20 minutes to walk up to St. Stephens Green
Provided that it is not raining, it is a pleasant walk through some of the nicest parts of Georgian Dublin.

Ireland's national rugby stadium is located on Lansdowne Rd. In addition to being used for rugby internationals it is also the venue for Soccer Internationals and Major Concerts. When a major event is on, Lansdowne Road is transformed from a quiet picturesque tree lined avenue to a mass of heaving bodies.

Located in exclusive Ballsbridge on the Grand Canal at Baggott Street Bridge is the modern and stylish contemporary Mespil Hotel. The Mespil is just ten minutes walk from St. Stephens Green and Grafton Street. Close by is The National Gallery, Government Buildings, and many other visitor attractions. The renowned Gaiety and Olympia theatres are just ten and twenty minutes walk respectively. The Dublin business district is just a five minute walk away!

The impeccably restored Pembroke Townhouse is one of Dublin's most exquisite boutique hotels and reflects an informal elegance that embodies the best of traditional Irish hospitality. It's located on Pembroke Road in the heart of Dublin 4 which is one of Dublin's most exclusive residential areas.
