There are over 250 restaurants in Dublin offering a wide range of cuisines to suit all tastes. Note that booking is advisable at restaurants in Dublin on Friday & Saturday nights. Prices can vary from diner-style eateries to the very expensive. Between 5 & 7pm, most restaurants offer an early bird menu for those on a tighter budget. Temple Bar is a very popular area with visitors to Dublin and there are many bars, restaurants and clubs to choose from. There are also many streets leading off Grafton Street and Dame Street that must be explored to get the most out of your time in Dublin.

Located in the heart of Temple Bar, this reasonably priced restaurant offers Italian and Mexican cuisine. It is great for parties or groups as the atmosphere is lively and it has good seating capacity.

This Indonesian restaurant is located on Fownes Street Lower in Temple Bar. It is a reasonably priced intimate restaurant serving authentic dishes and interesting vegetarian options.
Monty's of Kathmandu - 6704911 (€€)
Monty's is Dublin's only Nepalese restaurant, located on Eustace Street in Temple Bar. They offer an early bird menu and their regular menu is medium priced. Nepalese 'Shiva' beer is available there.

Located on Temple Bar Main Street, lovers of chicken wings must pay a visit to the Elephant & Castle! Serving American cuisine, the burgers & large salads are also excellent. It is medium-priced but you get good value for money. Always jam-packed!!
Boccaccio - ph: +353-1- 6797049 (€)
Located on Dame Street, Boccaccio's is an authentic Italian restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere. Talented waiters create a truly Italian ambiance by singing traditional tunes. Close to the Parliament Hotel & the Adams Trinity Hotel.
Havana Tapas Bar - ph: +353-1- 4760046 (€)
Located on Grantham Street, just off Camden Street, Havana is a reasonably priced Spanish tapas bar that does great Mojito cocktails! 6 Euro on average per dish. It is very convenient for those staying in the Camden Court Hotel & those hotels in the St Stephens Green, Grafton Street area.

Located beside the Harcourt Hotel on Harcourt, this Italian restaurant offers a wide ranging menu at reasonable prices. Often there is live music in the restaurant which adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
Captain America's - ph: +353-1- 6715266 (€€)
Captain America's can be found on Grafton Street (close to the Fitzwilliam & Mercer Hotel). It is popular for American-style food, offering steaks, burgers, baked potatoes etc. It is great for parties but you may have to wait for a table. Saying that, the cocktail menu passes the time nicely!
The Chilli Club - ph: +353-1- 6773721, (€€€)
Located on South Anne Street, just off Grafton Street, the Chilli Club offers some of the best Thai dishes in Dublin. There is limited seating so booking is essential. Buswells Hotel & Brooks Hotel are ideally positioned nearby.
Aya - ph: +353-1- 6771544 (€€€)
Aya is a Japanese restaurant located at the back of Brown Thomas' department store on Clarendon Street. Home to Dublin's only sushi train, it also has a sit-down table menu and offers daily happy hour specials. Well positioned for those staying at the Central, Drury Court or Brooks Hotel.

This fabulous Indian restaurant can be found on Lower Camden Street, a handy location for those staying in the Camden Court or Harcourt Hotel. It comes with great reviews and also offers a good selection of wine by the half-bottle.
The Ely Wine Bar - ph: +353-1- 6768986 (€€€)
Ely is tucked away on Ely Place just off Merrion Row, very close to the Merrion, Shelbourne, Davenport & Alexander Hotel. This wine bar boasts a selection of over 80 wines by the glass accompanied by casual, tasty food. Perfect for lunch or a light dinner.

The Unicorn is situated just off Merrion Row, ideally located near the Merrion Hotel & the Shelbourne Hotel. Booking is essential at this fashionable restaurant. This lively spot is quite pricey but the scrumptious dishes and the atmosphere are worth it!
