North / East Cork
This section covers the area of Cork stretching from Youghal in the Southeast to Charveville in the northeast and various Cork hotels that are available to book with us in areas including Midleton, Ballycotton, Cloyne , Fermoy, Mallow, Mitchelstown, Ardmore and Clonea .
Traveling West from Cork city, the first major town you will encounter is Midleton. Midleton is the Hub of East Cork, with its rich agricultural hinterland. There is a stark difference between the harsh cliffs and deep water bays of West Cork and the lush countryside and affluent towns of East Cork. Midleton is the ideal base for exploring the surrounding towns of Garryvoe, Ballycotton, Cloyne and Shangarry to the South and Fermoy to the North. Ballymaloe House is located 2 miles beyond the historic village of Cloyne (580AD), a large country house on a 400 acre farm, it serves as a fanatastic rural retreat. The Allen Family also run a craft and kitchen shop, the cafe at the Cork Municipal Art Gallery and the Ballymaloe Cookery School. Ballycotton, south of Shanagarry, is a small fishing village perched on the coastline overlooking Ballycotton Bay.
To the North, Mallow is on the main road to Limerick and has a fine castle in the centre of the town. Accommodation is available at Springfort Hall Hotel. Located 6 km from Mallow off the Limerick Road (N20). Ideal for touring the South West, Blarney, Killarney, Ring of Kerry. Local amenities: 18 hole golf, horse riding and angling. Springfort Hall is an 18th Century Georgian Manor house with a highly recommended restaurant. Longueville House , an historic Georgian home built in 1720, is owned and managed by the O'Callaghan family. Heading towards the Cork Tipperary border, you will find Mitchelstown. A wide variety of activities, attractions and hotels are available and Mitchelstown is the ideal base from which to explore a wealth of activities available within the 'Three Counties' region of Cork, Limerick and Tipperary at the confluence of which the town lies. The town is famous in Ireland for its Cheese, along with the nearby town of Charleville, their neighbour and competitior!!

Just a 30 minute drive from Mitchelstown you will find the Clonea, Ardmore and Youghal, along the Cork Waterford border.
Youghal is another large town well worth a visit, it is a popular holiday destination with tourists and locals for many years and has a great sandy beach, entertainment for adults and kids alike and a variety of hotels, ranging from budget hotels to luxury hotels. One hotel we would recommend in the area is the Quality Hotel and Leisure Centre, Youghal .
